Reservation Deposits
All deposits required at the time of booking-
Reservations of three or fewer nights require full payment

All other reservations require a 50% deposit

Security Damage Deposit
All reservations will require a $500 security deposit at the time of check in, made by a credit card authorization hold. Following check out inspection, the security hold will be released within 24 hours, provided there are no damages beyond normal wear and tear. Deductions from the security deposit may include, but are not limited to, excess cleaning fee, missing item replacement costs, damaged item replacement or repair costs and repair costs of building or grounds.

General Cancellation Policy/Refunds of Deposits/Payments
1. Reservations are fully refundable with 60 days prior notice, less a 6% processing fee.
2. Christmas & New Year holiday fully refundable with notice before September 15, less 6%

Rental Terms and Conditions

The primary guest must be age twenty-five (25) years or older and assume responsibility for those in his/her charge under the age of twenty-five (25).

The primary guest must be in residence for the duration of the reservation.

The primary guest accepts legal responsibility for bodily injury to himself/herself and/or any person(s) on the property as a result of the visit and use of rental unit, operation, or possession of equipment hired or loaned to me/us.

The primary guest agrees to accept complete responsibility for all individuals occupying or visiting the assigned rental unit at Discovery Point Club and the entire Discovery Point Club grounds.

The primary guest agrees that Discovery Point Club management and employees will not be held responsible for the loss of money, jewelry or any personal property during the duration of the rental period.

The primary guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the owner of the Discovery Point Club rental unit, Discovery Point Club Strata Plan 81, Discovery Point Club property manager, and all Discovery Point Club employees from and against liability for injury to myself or any other person(s) occupying or visiting the Discovery Point Club rental unit and/or the grounds of Discovery Point Club resulting from any cause whatsoever including, but not limited to, injury sustained as a result of use of the rental unit, use of any item(s) inside the rental unit, exterior stairs, communal pool, beach, ocean, etc., howsoever arising, whether by act or acts or failure to act of the employees and property owners on the grounds of Discovery Point Club.

Discovery Point Club is privately owned, and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

Our Worry-Free Hurricane Cancellation Policy

If you are already on island:
If the Cayman Islands Government has issued a hurricane evacuation warning and you need to leave Discovery Point Club before the end of your booked vacation, you will be charged only for the nights you have stayed. -
Cancellation prior to Arrival:
In the event air travel has been suspended due to a government-issued hurricane warning, you will be given a credit for the amount already paid, good for one year. If a hurricane is anticipated to hit Grand Cayman within 24 hours of your visit, you may cancel your reservation and will be given a credit for the amount already paid, good for one year. -
Rescheduling:
If you choose to arrive immediately after a hurricane has passed, and you request a shortened visit from your original reserved time, you will be charged only for the actual nights stayed. You can also stay for the same number of nights as originally booked (even if requires extension of dates); however, if an extension is requested, there is no guarantee that you will be accommodated in your original condo for the full duration as it may already be booked. Guests can reschedule their stay and use their credit voucher for anytime up to one year.
